PAAO 2019 Symposium: Glaucoma treatment with the Cyclo G6 laser in MicroPulse mode
The Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology (PAAO) is a non-profit organization founded in 1939. The mission of the PAAO is continuing education for ophthalmologists, prevention of blindness, and promotion of scientific and cultural exchange among ophthalmologists of the Western Hemisphere and beyond. With members in more than 35 countries, the PAAO provides a forum for professionals from all over the world to gather and focus on ways to standardize and improve ophthalmic knowledge and skills for the improvement of patient care.
IRIDEX was proud to be in Cancun, Mexico for the Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology (PAAO). We hosted an educational Cyclo® G6 Symposium, to learn more about this non-invasive, versatile option, and for a great variety of cases of glaucoma. A few of our guest speakers included:
Dr. Jesus Jimenez Roman – Mexico
Dr. Fabian Lerner – Argentina
Dr. Jose Manuel Guajardo – Chilie
Dr. Francisco Ortega – Mexico
Dra. Maria Fernanda Delgado
More than 100,000 glaucoma patients have been treated in more than 50 countries with the IRIDEX MicroPulse laser because it is a safe and non-invasive therapy; which can be applied in a great variety of cases. Together with our distributor in Mexico, Cyan Medica, we invited you to this symposium on May 25 at the PAAO congress in Cancun to learn from five glaucoma specialists about their experiences, patient selection, results, and how they use the MicroPulse laser before, Combinations with, or after other glaucoma treatments. They also presented several cases and answered questions from the audience.
This event was a great success with many visitors from all around the world and our Cyclo G6 symposium was standing room only!
